 If
you've seen Nick Parks' charming Creature
Comforts series then you know what we were going for with my
birthday invite. My wife Susan and I brought the kids one by one to
my home edit suite for a voice session. After we got the three of
them on camera, we brought them all down for a group "Happy
Birthday" song. |
Overnight, I modeled the first character, co-incidentally the easiest, the porpoise. I animated her scenes, and while she rendered via my render-farm, I began to work on the toad then the panda.

At
the dinner table, I coerced them to reveal what their favourite
animal at the time was: Bryce is a panda, Melissa is a toad, and
Jessica is a porpoise.
